Red Carpet Event Scheduled for April 4th in NYC
Posted by Megs

Warner Bros has announced that there will be a red carpet premiere at New York City’s Discovery Time Square at 7pm on Monday, April 4, 2011 for the opening of Harry Potter: the Exhibition as well as the DVD/Blu-ray release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I.

WB has emailed to let us know that fans will be able to sit in a special area with risers to watch the stars come down the carpet. So far we know that Daniel Radcliffe and Bonnie Wright as well as some other stars will be in attendance!

I will be in attendance at the event as well as a few others scheduled and will report back with photos/video/whatever else I’m able to do at the event, haha.

I just got back from a very wet day at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, it was so much fun! I’ll be posting photos and a video soon if any of it came out good, the rain may have ruined stuff. I will also have a short review written up as well.

Off to Hogwarts!
Posted by Megs

Hello everyone,

I wanted to let you all know that I am on vacation from today until next Saturday the 2nd of April. I’m off to Florida to go to the beach, Disney and of course the Harry Potter Theme Park (this is my first time going to Florida or on a plane…I know, shocking, ha ha). Expect a lot of photos and videos from the park when I return! Do you guys have any questions about the park that you would like me to try and answer? (how much things cost, etc.)

I will also have some fun Potter-related surprises for you the week I come back, that’s all I can say right now though, but its pretty exciting stuff!

Finally, I WILL have access to the internet so if any big news breaks I will still be posting (with my trusty iPad), so I won’t be totally gone.

See you all in about a week!

Harry Melling on Tonight’s Episode of Merlin
Posted by Megs

As I posted back in January, Harry Melling, best known for playing Dudley Dursley in the Harry Potter films, will be guest starring on tonight’s episode of Merlin on SyFy in the United States. He is playing the role of Gilli, a sorcerer, nice to see him playing the other side of the spectrum as opposed to a muggle, right? It will be airing at 10pm so don’t forget!

The episode is entitled “The Sorcerer’s Shadow” and the description is as follows:

Camelot’s legendary tournament only has one rule: there are no rules whatsoever. Terrifying warriors start to fill the mythical city, Gilli between them. Despite his small stature, Gilli is ready to join the action and committed to achieve victory with a secret weapon to help him: magic. When Gilli begins to realize the full extent of his powers, Merlin becomes torn since his new friend is putting his own life in danger as well as threatening the very heart of Camelot with his actions. Will Merlin be able to make Gilli see sense before it’s too late?

If you’ve never seen the show before I advise you to watch it, it is amazing and one of my favorite shows (along with The Big Bang Theory, yes I am a MAJOR geek). You can order Season 1 and  Season 2 on Amazon to catch up on the series. Season 4 will be filming soon and will air first in the UK on BBC and then some time after that it will air here in the US (hopefully)
