Today SS interviewed Robert Pattinson who was Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter films and will be playing Edward Cullen in Twilight.

With Cedric I felt very natural doing a lot of his stuff. Because it was my first really big thing, I kept telling myself, “It’s not a big deal. It’s not a big deal. It doesn’t matter if you make up a bit of the line.”

Harry Potter’s Page: You felt you related more to Cedric?
No, not really. I knew a guy just like Cedric when I went to school and I was thinking about him a lot when I was doing that.

How did you relate to the role of Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire?
When I was doing the part I had so little idea of how to act. I was sort of just doing that off the cuff. I don’t’ know how much of it is acting and how much of it is just being there and reading the line.
