Cherrybomb is scheduled to be screened at the American Film Market which will take place from November 4th-11th in Santa Monica, CA. Thanks to ICM for emailing us!
The Little Film Company informed us that this screening will be open to the fans or anybody interested in seeing the film! We are already spreading the word around […]. All they [fans] need to do is send us their name and email address at staff@rupert-grint.us. We are putting together a list right now.
Later they posted this on the site to clear up some confusion: “YES the screening is open to anybody to attend, but it’s not like you can walk up to the booth and order a ticket yourself. You will have to email us to be placed on the list to attend because this is for marketing purposes like the London screening was.”
In a new interview with Bill Nighy, Rufus Scrimgeour, he discussed the security measures to protect the movie script and more.
“They kill you, if you leave your script lying around or leave it on the bus, you’re dead,” he said, laughing. “You have to sign a confidentiality (agreement) and stuff like that which is perfectly understandable. So if I tell you any more, they’ll come round my house.”
“It was very sweet, very nice to work with him, and with Emma and Rupert, and with David Yates as this is my fourth time working with him,” he added at the Los Angeles premiere of his latest film, Astro Boy. “It’s great. I thought I was going to be the only British actor of a certain age not to be in Harry Potter and it turned out not to be true so it’s kind of cool.”
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has been nominated in the 2010 People’s Choice Awards! It has been nominated in the following categories:
Favorite Franchise against Star Trek, Transformers, Twilight and more!
Favorite Movie against Star Trek, Twilight, The Hangover and more!
Favorite on Screen Team (Dan, Emma and Rupert) against Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto of Star Trek, Ben Stiller & Amy Adams of Night at the Museum and more!
Vote for your favorites here at this link! The show will be broadcast live on CBS on January 6, 2010.
I must say my votes were torn between Star Trek and Harry Potter, good thing you could vote for multiples in a category!
RallyGb.Org is reporting that Rupert Grint is going to attend the Rally of Great Britain and will be at the Rally GB Service Park this Sunday October 25th!
Rupert, 21, is a huge fan of rallying and will no doubt be hoping to catch the crowning of the World Rally Champion at the ceremonial finish in the afternoon. Fans and media who want to catch a glimpse of the star should make sure they are in the manufacturer’s area of the Service Park, in Cardiff Bay at 2.15pm.
According to TrekToday Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince won the SCREAM Award for Best Ensemble at the Scream Awards that were held on the 17th. The show will be airing on October 27th.
I will post a video as soon as one comes online! Unfortunately I don’t think Potter won any other awards at the show, most of the categories they were in Star Trek won. (WOO Star Trek!)
UPDATE: According to this article, “The Harry Potter cast won Best Ensemble, but none of them showed up so the award didn’t appear as part of the show.”
UPDATE 2: The Death Eater attack on the bridge in London scena won the ” Holy S***! Scene of the Year” award.
A teaser trailer for the second Nanny McPhee film is now online! Emma Thompson plays Nanny McPhee and is also the one of the producers and writer of the movie. For that reason she was not able to return to film Deathly Hallows, which is a disappointment to all Potter fans as she was the PERFECT Trelawney. Other Potter stars are also in the film: Ralph Fiennes will be playing Lord Gray and Maggie Smith will play Mrs. Docherty, finally, Rhys Ifans is playing Uncle Phil.
