A new documentary on J.K. Rowling is being prepared by ABC News.
The in-depth profile, which will air in November, includes several interviews, the book tour for the final “Harry Potter” installment, and a tour of locations that inspired her characters. It even hints to what the future holds for Harry and his friends.
ABC is again working with U.K. producer RDF Media, which raised a royal ruckus last year when its trailer for “A Year with the Queen” appeared to show the Queen storming out of a photo shoot. In fact, she was walking into the shoot, and RDF apologized profusely for the editing snafu.
Well as you know, Emma’s birthday was on the 15th. She had a birthday party Bonnie Wright and Evanna Lynch attended! Other stars were probably there as well, but only pictures with those 3 are online so far.
See photos HERE and some high quality HERE in the gallery courtesy of Superior Pics (removed link because they are posting inappropriate images). I will update whenever more pictures surface, hopefully with more than just Ems :).
UPDATE: Added a Bonnie and Evanna picture to the Gallery, HERE! If anyone finds pictures of anyone else there, please send them in! UPDATE: Added a picture with Katie in it. UPDATE: Added Tom Felton and Katie
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Emma Watson has been cast in a new film!
Emma Watson is attached to star in “Napoleon and Betsy,” a period drama being written and directed by Benjamin Ross.
Watson will play Betsy Balcombe, a young, impetuous noblewoman trapped on the isolated British Isle of St. Helena who falls in love with Napoleon, who is in exile on the island.
With filming of the last chapter, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” scheduled to commence in early 2009, Watson hopes to shoot “Napoleon and Betsy” in the fall.
Emma Watson will be appearing on Travels in Written Britain, which will show world-famous novelist George Eliot’s history told against the background of places in her life.
There will also be an extract from George Eliot’s great niece’s diary read by Harry Potter star Emma Watson.
The diary was made available by John Burton, chairman of the George Eliot Fellowship, with the kind permission of her family.
TRAVELS in Written Britain will be screened on ITV1 on Sunday at 10.45pm.
